FERRARI MAKES IMPORTANT CHANGES IN THE TECHNICAL TEAM

According to AutoRacer.it, a significant change is taking place within Ferrari’s organisational structure: John Lockwood, currently Head of Composites Design for the Formula 1 team, is set to leave his role to join the Ferrari Hypersail project.

His position in Formula 1 will be covered on an interim basis by personnel already within the company.

However, Lockwood’s move is not the only one. At the same time, Ferrari is accelerating a broader internal mobility strategy between its Formula 1 division and the Hypercar programme.

Sources indicate there is an ongoing exchange of technical staff between the two racing departments, aimed at transferring the efficiency, operational discipline and cohesion that contributed to Ferrari’s recent success in the World Endurance Championship into the F1 programme.

This reorganisation, overseen by Technical Director Loïc Serra, aims to establish a clearer structure, reduce decision-making uncertainty, in line with the goal of creating a more focused, cohesive and streamlined working environment.
