RED BULL AND RACING BULLS REVEAL THEIR 2026 LIVERY

Oracle Red Bull Racing Reveals 2026 F1 Livery in Detroit

Oracle Red Bull Racing has officially revealed its 2026 Formula One car livery in Detroit, marking the start of a new era for the team. The launch also celebrates the beginning of Red Bull Ford Powertrains, a new engine partnership between Red Bull and Ford.

The new car, called the RB22, will be driven by Max Verstappen and his new team-mate Isack Hadjar when the season begins at the Australian Grand Prix in March.

A bold new look for a new era

The RB22 features a glossy dark blue paint with clean white accents. This shiny finish is a return to the look Red Bull Racing used when it first entered Formula 1 in 2005. Ford branding appears clearly on the car, highlighting the importance of the new partnership.

Team Principal Laurent Mekies explained that the design reflects both the future and the past of the team. He said the livery honours Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz, whose dream was not only to race in F1 but also to build engines.

Red Bull and Ford: building their own engine

For the first time in its history, Red Bull Racing will race with an engine built in-house. The power unit has been developed by Red Bull Powertrains in partnership with Ford Racing.

The 2026 regulations bring major changes to Formula One engines. While the V6 engine remains, the electrical side becomes much more important. The MGU-K system, which recovers energy during braking, will now provide about 50% of the car’s total power almost three times more than before.

Ford brings strong history to the project. The famous Ford-Cosworth DFV engine powered 155 race wins between 1967 and 1983, making it one of the most successful engines in F1 history. As a tribute to Dietrich Mateschitz, the first Red Bull Powertrains engine is named DM01.

Drivers and team ready for the challenge

Verstappen praised the new look:

“I think it’s much better! I’ve been asking for this for a while! I like the shine, I like the blue, it’s my favorite color, i like the outlines on the logo as well, its back! It’s fresh. I like it!”

Hadjar said it is an honour to race alongside Verstappen and added that the glossy livery will look especially striking during night races.

Visa Cash App Racing Bulls reveal 2026 F1 car and welcome Arvid Lindblad

Visa Cash App Racing Bulls have officially launched their 2026 Formula 1 car and introduced their new driver, Arvid Lindblad, at the same special event in Detroit, USA.

After the car proved popular last season, the team decided to keep its clean, matt-white design. For 2026, the livery includes blue details along the car’s body. These accents are a clear reference to the new partnership with Ford.

A new driver joins the team

Arvid Lindblad joins Racing Bulls for his first season in Formula 1. He arrives with a strong reputation for speed and determination.

Lindblad’s rise to F1 has been very fast. In 2025, he won the Formula Regional Oceania Championship, which earned him the points needed for a Super Licence. He then competed in Formula 2 as a rookie. Now, in 2026, he becomes the only rookie on the grid and the youngest driver in Formula One. He is also the youngest British driver in F1 history.

Speaking at the launch, Lindblad said the moment felt unreal and said he was ready to learn, work hard and give everything on track.

Lindblad joined the Red Bull Junior Team in 2021 and is the latest young driver to move up to Formula One. He will race alongside Liam Lawson, who is starting only his second full F1 season. Another Red Bull junior, Ayumu Iwasa, will act as reserve and test driver.

Looking ahead to 2026

Racing Bulls, like Oracle Red Bull Racing, will race with an engine from a new manufacturer, Red Bull Powertrains. Even so, the team is confident about its future.

With Peter Bayer leading the factory, Alan Permane running the race team, and designer Tim Goss overseeing the car, the VCARB03 is expected to fight regularly for points and possibly podium finishes.

Last year, the team achieved an important result when Isack Hadjar finished third at the Dutch Grand Prix, their first podium under the Racing Bulls name. The team has also enjoyed success in the past as Toro Rosso and AlphaTauri, including race wins and podiums.

Team Principal Alan Permane said that 2026 marks one of the biggest changes in Formula 1 history and that working with Ford from the start is very important. He praised the Red Bull Ford Powertrains project and said the team is excited to see the new power unit on track in the coming weeks.
