BORTOLETO DISQUALIFIED FROM MIAMI SPRINT OVER TECHNICAL VIOLATION

Gabriel Bortoleto has been disqualified from the Sprint race in Miami after a breach of technical regulations was discovered. The issue was related to the engine, as the intake air pressure on his car exceeded the maximum allowed limit of 4.8 bar.

Although the difference may seem small, Formula 1 rules are extremely strict when it comes to engine performance and limits. Any value above the permitted threshold is considered an infringement, regardless of intent or impact on performance.

Bortoleto had originally finished the Sprint race in 11th place, outside the points. However, due to this violation, his result has been officially removed from the classification.
