BREAKING: VERSTAPPEN.COM DISQUALIFIED FROM NLS2 RACE

Max Verstappen’s team, Verstappen.com has lost his victory in today’s NLS2 race at the Nürburgring after being disqualified for breaking the tire usage rules. The team racing with the Mercedes GT3 by Winward, used seven sets of tires during the event, while the limit was six, leading officials to remove the result after the race.

This decision comes despite a dominant performance on track. Verstappen and his team had secured pole position earlier in the day with a huge advantage, setting a lap time nearly two seconds faster than the second-placed Audi. During the race, they continued to show strong pace and crossed the finish line with a lead of about one minute over the car in second place.

However, the post-race checks revealed the tire rule violation, which automatically results in disqualification. Because of this, the win has now been awarded to the BMW #99 entry from ROWE Racing, which originally finished second on the road.

This outcome changes Verstappen’s record at the Nürburgring, as he now loses one of what would have been his two victories at the circuit. While the performance showed clear speed and control, the mistake in tire usage ultimately cost the team a well-earned win.
