DS AUTOMOBILES TO LEAVE FORMULA-E AT THE END OF SEASON 12

DS Automobiles will leave Formula E at the end of the 2025/26 season. There will be a wider change inside the Stellantis group, which owns several car brands.

Even though DS is leaving the championship, Stellantis is not quitting Formula E. Instead, the group is reorganising its motorsport programs. Opel is expected to take a bigger role and represent Stellantis in the all-electric series in the future, meaning we will still see 20 cars on the grid.

DS Automobiles has been one of the most important teams in Formula E history. The brand joined the championship in Season 2, which started in October 2015. Since then, DS has competed through different eras of the sport, from the early Gen1 cars to the current Gen3 generation.

During its time in Formula E, DS achieved strong results. The team took part in 142 races and won 4 championship titles. They also scored 18 race wins, 55 podium finishes, and 26 pole positions.

DS Automobiles leaves behind a strong legacy as one of the most successful manufacturers in Formula E.
