JAKE DENNIS EXTENDS CONTRACT WITH ANDRETTI FORMULA E TEAM
Jake Dennis has signed a new multi-year agreement with Andretti, committing his future to the team as he enters his fifth season with the American outfit in 2026. The extension also confirms his involvement in the debut of Formula E’s next-generation GEN4 car, set to make its first appearance in December 2026 in São Paulo.
Dennis joined the Indianapolis-based team in 2021, when Andretti was still operating in partnership with BMW. He made his Formula E debut at the 2021 Diriyah E-Prix, immediately marking himself as a driver to watch.
Over the years, Dennis has become Andretti’s most successful Formula E driver. He has accumulated more than 700 championship points, secured seven victories, seven pole positions and 24 podium finishes, and claimed the Season 9 Formula E World Drivers’ Championship title.
Notably, Andretti and Dennis announced the contract extension exactly five years after the original news confirming his arrival at the team, a symbolic milestone reflecting a highly successful partnership.
Dennis’ progression with Andretti Formula E has established him as one of the benchmark drivers of the current era. His career highlights include finishing third in the championship standings as a rookie and setting multiple records, including the most points (229) and podiums (11) scored in a single season, and of course the World title in 2023. He also holds the records for the most Formula E Grand Slams (2) and the highest number of Final Duel appearances (14) in the qualifying format.
