ROSS BRAWN JOINS PRAMAC RACING IN MOTOGP ROLE
Ross Brawn is back in top-level motorsport after Pramac Racing announced that he has joined its Board of Directors.
The former Formula 1 boss will work as a strategic advisor to Pramac owner and team principal Paolo Campinoti, bringing decades of experience from F1 into the MotoGP paddock.
Brawn is one of the most respected figures in motorsport. During his Formula 1 career, he played a major role in title-winning projects with Benetton, Ferrari, Brawn GP and Mercedes. He was also a key figure behind Michael Schumacher’s dominant years at Ferrari.
His arrival is a big statement from Pramac. The team is now looking to strengthen its long-term structure, and Brawn’s knowledge of leadership, strategy and winning cultures could be valuable away from the track as well as inside the garage.
This does not mean Brawn is becoming a MotoGP crew chief or technical director. His role is more strategic, helping Campinoti and the team with experience gained from decades at the highest level of racing.
