YAMAHA SET TO COMPLETE 2027 ROSTER WITH ROOKIE GUEVARA

Pramac Racing Moto2 rider Izan Guevara is set to move into the premier class of Grand Prix racing with the Pramac team after a strong start to 2026.

Guevara has turned around his Moto2 career over the last 14 months following a move to Pramac after a disappointing stint at Aspar.

The Spaniard (21) has picked up one win and four other podiums in his Moto2 stint and is currently second in the standings, with two podiums in three rounds.

Guevara won the 2022 Moto3 championship after a season-long battle with Aspar teammate Sergio Garcia. That season, he took seven wins and established himself as a potential MotoGP star.

Guevara will partner current Pramac rider Toprak Razgatlioglu in a revitalised Yamaha line-up.

This move leaves current Pramac rider Jack Miller without a seat. However, with the potential move of Tech3 to Honda, a possible opening for the Australian could emerge there.

Yamaha will head into the new regulations with a factory line-up of Jorge Martin and Ai Ogura, and a satellite outfit of Guevara and Razgatlioglu. The lean roster boasts a MotoGP world champion and champions from Moto2, Moto3, and World Superbikes.
