AUDI IS THE FIRST TEAM TO REACH MINIMUM WEIGHT LIMIT
Audi has reached an important milestone before the start of its first Formula 1 season. According to sources close to the team, Audi is the first and only team to have reached the minimum weight limit set by the FIA.
This could be a big advantage at the start of the championship. A similar situation happened at the beginning of the 2022 season, when several teams struggled with heavy cars.
People inside the project say Audi has had no major problems during development. The team appears well prepared and confident ahead of its first year in Formula 1.
Nico Hülkenberg, one of Audi’s drivers, shared his positive feelings about the work done over the winter.
“I’m really happy with how we are working and the effort from everyone in the team. We are not just building a car, but also creating a winning mindset. I’m impressed with how we handled every challenge in this project.”
While the real performance will only be seen once the season begins, reaching the minimum weight limit early shows that Audi’s project is well organized and moving in the right direction.
