BEN KEATING TO MISS FIRST TWO ROUNDS OF 2026 WEC SEASON

Ben Keating will miss the first two rounds of the 2026 World Endurance Championship season after suffering an accident while training. The incident resulted in a broken elbow, which will prevent him from competing at the start of the championship.

The injury means Keating will be forced to sit out the opening races while he recovers. Although the full details of the accident have not been widely reported, the broken elbow requires time to heal before he can safely return to the car.

Because of his absence, TF Sport has confirmed that Blake McDonald will replace him in the #33 Corvette for the first two rounds of the season. McDonald will join the team as a temporary substitute while Keating focuses on recovery.

McDonald finished second in the Pro-Am class of the 2025 GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS with DXDT Racing, driving a Chevrolet. He later continued racing in GT competition during the 2025–2026 Asian Le Mans Series, where he competed together with TF Sport.

TF Sport competes in the World Endurance Championship with the Corvette GT program, and the team will aim to maintain strong results despite the unexpected driver change.

Keating is expected to return later in the season once he has fully recovered from the injury.
