PEDRO CLEROT TO STAY IN FORMULA 3 WITH RODIN FOR 2027
Pedro Clerot will remain in Formula 3 for the 2027 season after renewing his contract with Rodin Motorsport. The Brazilian will stay with the team for a second year after completing his rookie F3 campaign in 2026.
Clerot ended his first F3 season sixth in the Drivers’ Championship with 88 points. He scored his maiden victory in the Madrid Feature Race, while also taking four further podium finishes during the year. His other podiums came in the Sprint races at Monaco, Spielberg and Spa-Francorchamps, as well as another podium in Madrid.
His strongest weekend came at the season finale in Madrid. Clerot qualified second for Feature Race 1 and made a strong start to take the lead immediately. He then led every lap to secure his first Formula 3 victory. He returned to the podium in the second race, finishing third and ending the season with two trophies from the weekend.
Clerot also showed strong pace earlier in the season. He finished third in the Monaco Sprint, second in the Spielberg Sprint and third in the Spa Sprint. At Spielberg, he also recovered from 10th on the grid to finish fourth in the Feature Race.
The 2026 season was Clerot’s first year in Formula 3 after two seasons in the Formula Regional European Championship. He finished fourth in the 2025 FRECA championship with Van Amersfoort Racing after taking two victories and five additional podiums.
Before moving into Formula Regional, Clerot won the 2022 Brazilian Formula 4 championship and later competed in Spanish and UAE Formula 4. His progression continued through Formula Regional before he joined Rodin for his F3 debut.
Rodin also had its strongest F3 season to date in 2026, finishing sixth in the Teams’ Championship and setting a new team record for points in a single season. Clerot’s sixth place in the Drivers’ Championship was the team’s best individual result of the year.
Rodin Sporting Director Benn Huntingford said the team was pleased to continue working with Clerot after seeing his pace and progress throughout his first F3 season. The team also highlighted his maiden victory in Madrid as an important sign of his development.
