DIOGO MOREIRA HAS ONE HAND IN THE MOTO2 TITLE

Diogo Moreira has just won the Moto2 Portuguese Grand Prix, with Collin Veijer and David Alonso completing the podium.

Manu González, the Brazilian rider’s main rival, finished P7 and came close to seeing the title slip to the #10 bike today.

Now Diogo leads the championship by 24 points and carries all the momentum heading into Valencia, the final round of the season.

Diogo needs only to finish in any position ahead of González to become champion.

If he fails to score, Diogo will still take the crown unless González wins the race.
