DRIVER MOVES IN FORMULA 2 AHEAD OF THE QATAR ROUND

Formula 2 is getting towards the end of the season, with two rounds to go, in both Lusail and Abu Dhabi.

As usual, after the European rounds, we see different driver moves for the final races. This is caused either by financial issues, or change of plans.

For example, Pepe Marti has signed for KIRO Cupra in Formula-E, and will not compete in the last two rounds of the season due to having begun his work with the team. He will be replaced by 2025 Formula 3 runner-up Nikola Tsolov in Campos.

Martinius Stenshorne, who debuted with Trident in the Baku round and almost fought for a double podium, will switch to Rodin Motorsport in place of Amaury Cordeel.

Taking that empty spot, will be the Australian James Wharton surprisingly, who will do his second year in FIA Formula 3 with PREMA in 2026. He will only compete the Qatar round with Trident in Formula 2.
