F1 ACADEMY – EMMA FELBERMAYR WINS CHAOTIC CHINESE GRAND PRIX

The second race of the F1 Academy weekend delivered an eventful contest, marked by several incidents. Emma Felbermayr took the victory ahead of Alisha Palmowski and Payton Westcott.

At the start, Alba Larsen makes a perfect launch and immediately takes the lead of the race. In contrast, Alisha Palmowski completely misses her start from pole position and drops to third place.

Behind them, the first incident occurs on the opening lap. Natalia Granada breaks her front wing after contact with Ferreira and is forced to pit.

Emma Felbermayr, Alisha Palmowski and Payton Westcott engage in a tight battle for P2, allowing Alba Larsen to build a gap at the front.

The race then turns with a big contact between Jade Jacquet and Esmee Kosterman under braking into Turn 14. The safety car is deployed.

At the restart, Alba Larsen makes a big mistake and runs into the gravel. The Danish driver loses several positions and drops down to eighth place, handing the race lead to Emma Felbermayr.

Further back in the field, several battles animate the closing stages of the race, including another collision at Turn 14 between Shi Wei and Robertson.

Emma Felbermayr, under pressure until the final corners, secures the victory. Alisha Palmowski and Payton Westcott complete the podium.
