GB3: ALEX NINOVIC CROWNED CHAMPION AT DONINGTON
The 2025 GB3 season crowned a new champion this weekend at Donington Park: Alex Ninovic. The Australian driver from Rodin Motorsport clinched the title after a very strong year, marked by consistency and speed that never faltered.
A season controlled from start to finish
Ninovic quickly took the lead in the championship from the opening rounds. Always at the front, he built his advantage through exemplary consistency and by fighting for victory almost every time.
The Rodin driver proved comfortable on every circuit of the calendar, performing strongly in both qualifying and races, and rarely finding himself under pressure. His ability to make the most of every weekend allowed him to build a sufficient lead to secure the title at Donington, before the final round at Monza, winning 8 races with one further podium.
Donington, a land of triumph
Arriving at Donington with a comfortable margin, Ninovic delivered a sensational weekend to secure the championship. He won the first two races of the weekend and finished seventh in the final race.
The Australian can now approach the final weekend with greater peace of mind and his new status as 2025 champion.

Looking beyond GB3
Buoyed by this title, Alex Ninovic could now target Formula 3 next season. With his maturity, clean driving style, and ability to perform consistently, the Australian establishes himself as one of the young talents to watch closely in the British motorsport ladder.
However, with almost all the seats signed we will hardly see Ninovic in next year’s Formula 3 grid, making his future mysterious at the moment.
A well-deserved champion
Alex Ninovic dominated through his professionalism and consistency. At just 18 years old, he claims his first major single-seater title and confirms the potential shown over recent seasons, establishing himself as a talent to follow in the coming years.
