HAMILTON REFLECTS ON HIS FIRST FERRARI SEASON

“My first year at Ferrari? The results showed everything”

During today’s drivers press conference Lewis Hamilton answered some questions regarding his first season at Ferrari and much more.

“I do not want look back at this season. I think results speak very clear so I do not have anything more to say. The most important thing I have learned would probably be to bounce back from the tough moments that happened so far throughout the season. One highlight from this year would be the moment I joined the team and feeling the immense passion that lives around it.”

When asked about a potential “regret” on his move from Mercedes to Ferrari (also by looking at the German team’s recent form) Lewis denied it:

“That is an hypothetical question and I will not really get into that. But I do not regret the decision I made, joining this team. I know it takes time to build and grow within an organisation and I expected that.”

When asked about this weekend’s expectations the British driver seemed positive.

“I do not know, I think we can be pretty fast here. Of course Red Bull will be hard to catch but our car seems to like this track so I hope that we can do something good.”

Lewis had also some time to praise Kimi Antonelli’s first ever year in Formula 1.

“I think he (Kimi) has done an amazing job this year, especially in the second half of the season where he really stepped up. I haven’t worked with him but I’m enjoying watching him grow as a man and as a driver. We have good relationship.”

The seven time world champion will try to finish the season on a high, without any complaints of how the year went so far, and is looking forward for 2026, when new regulation comes.
