HUGE CRASH SUSPENDS ITALIAN F4 RACE 2

Italian Formula 4 race 2 gets suspended after a massive crash from a stalled car on the grid caused damage in 15 cars.

The brazilian Gabriel Gomez was once again on pole position ahead of Williams junior Oleksandr Bondarev. What was set to be an exciting race at the top, immediately got interrupted due to a massive crash that involved 15 cars.

Some of the names are Salim Hanna, Zhenrui Chi and Max Popov. The race direction confirmed that all of them are ok and fit to race tomorrow.

Whether this race will be recovered this weekend, it is yet to know, but ACI Sport is planning on placing the race after the weekend’s main event, the 3-hour endurance race of the Italian GT3 championship. The time of the start would be between 18:45 and 19:10 CET time.

The comeback we have been witnessing from the Brazilian Gabriel Gomez has been exciting so far, as the Brazilian got down to a 49-point disadvantage to Kean Nakamura-Berta in the standings, and is looking forward to start another race from pole.
