KEAN NAKAMURA-BERTA TAKES DOUBLE POLE POSITION IN EURO4 FINALE

The little Samurai has taken pole position for the final round of the European Formula 4 after a stunning time in Q2.

Drivers were not split into groups for this weekend’s qualy as there were enough driver to take part in the standard weekend format.

Kean Nakamura-Berta was initially flying out in front in the first qualy session, which decides the grid for race 1. Drivers such as Kabir Anurag who was flying during all the weekend were also in contention for pole position.

However, when drivers started to push towards the final part of the session, it was Sebastian Wheldon, who found a flying lap to get into first position, right ahead of Kean Nakamura-Berta and Gabriel Gomez. All three of them are in the fight for the title.

The Japanese in PREMA managed to get pole position with an almost record-breaking lap, 1:51.2 put him six tenths ahead of a surprising Reno Francot for race 2.

Gabriel Gomez managed to finish only six, making his fight for the title even tougher this weekend. Race 3 pole position goes to Kean Nakamura-Berta as well for setting the second fastest lap overall.
