MAX VERSTAPPEN “FORGETS” CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE FIGHT AS HE FACES PITLANE START

Max Verstappen to start from the pitlane following a setup and power unit change after qualifying.

Max will need a 2024-style comeback to keep his championship’s hopes alive.

“I can forget about that (the championship). For sure” said the Red Bull driver at the Media pen.

Max Verstappen answered with these words when asked about his chances of winning the title after a crazy qualifying session in São Paulo yesterday.

Talking about the qualifying itself he then added:

“I couldn’t push at all. The car was going all over the place. It was all sliding around a lot. I had to drive way below the limit just to make sure I didn’t have any moments. But that doesn’t work, of course.”

Not the weekend Max was hoping for so far. Will he be able to recover from this moment?
