TIM TRAMNITZ SEALS SECOND WIN OF THE FORMULA 3 SEASON
Tim Tramnitz has won the last sprint race of the 2025 Formula 3 season, ahead of Roman Bilinski and Martinius Stenshorne.
A chaotic race start saw Ivan Domingues retire after a brake failure going into turn 1, as he ended up hitting the wall on the left hand side, breaking his front wing and nose of the car. Champion Rafael Camara made up six places in lap 1.
Stenshorne started better than Van Hoepen and eventually got to the lead in turn 1. Brad Benavides collided with Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak in Ascari, broke his wing and was handed a 10 second time penalty for the collision, who saw the Thai lose many places.
The Safety car stayed on track until lap number four as they go back to green flag.
The restart was very calm. However, on lap 6, Noah Stromsted has gone wide at turn 1, locking up the tires and losing many positions.
Two laps later, Tim Tramnitz has taken P2 over Laurens Van Hoepen, as Nicola Lacorte dropped down the order with Louis Sharp, and the Italian was given a 10 second time penalty due to causing a collision.
Halfway through the race, an incredible pace from Tramnitz brought him to the race lead, as he overtook Martinius Stenshorne going into turn 1. Bilinski got P3 from Van Hoepen. Stenshorne and Bilinski eventually got to fight for P2 for a couple of laps.
Ugo Ugochukwu made a mistake on lap 12 and went wide in turn 1, losing 4 positions from P7. Stenshorne and Bilinski were fighting for P2, Stenshorne had to cut the corner at turn 1 and was told to give the position back.
Wurz gets sandwiched in turn 1 on lap 15, and he had to retire due to damage, Brando Badoer also got his wing broken due to the collision.
Safety Car on track again, and it will stay until the end of lap 17, meaning there will be one lap of racing.
The restart was not chaotic at all though, Tim Tramnitz managed to pull a gap when the green flag was given, and the top 3 stayed as it was, and the German managed to win for the second time this season, ahead of Roman Bilinski with Rodin and Martinius Stenshorne of Hitech.

Tsolov made contact with Giusti at the last corner and spun out from P8, losing the points he was securing.
