TSUNODA SET FOR INDYCAR MOVE AS HADJAR GETS PROMOTED

During the course of the Abu Dhabi race week, Isack Hadjar is set to be announced as the second driver in Red Bull Racing.

After Helmut Marko delayed his decisions about the seats of both Red Bull and Racing Bulls, the Austrian has finally come to a conclusion.

Isack Hadjar will be stepping up to Red Bull alongside Max Verstappen for the 2026 Formula 1 season, with Arvid Lindblad filling his seat at VCARB. The British driver currently races in F2 and finds himself 6th in the standings with 121 points, and will take part in the Formula 1 post season tests as well.

Yuki Tsunoda is looking overseas, as he is set to take a seat the remaining seat in the Dale Coyne team in Indycar, that was once set rumoured to be Grosjean’s, but the deal has been called off. Yuki will find FIA F3 and IndyNXT champion Dennis Hauger as his team mate in America.

Honda leaving Red Bull is also a key factor for Tsunoda leaving Formula 1. The Japanese brand will migrate to Aston Martin from 2026, and Yuki may follow them in the British Team, whether as a future full-time driver, or a reserve.

Although not 100% confirmed, Liam Lawson is set to stay at Racing Bulls for a second season.
