WEC 2026 ENTRY LIST REVEALED: WHICH LINE-UPS ARE CHANGING?
The 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship grid brings together a 35‑car field, with 17 Hypercars and 18 LMGT3 entries confirmed for the eight‑round season. The mix of factory powerhouses and ambitious privateers sets up one of the most competitive WEC campaigns in recent years.
Hypercar class
Ferrari
Ferrari – AF Corse leads the way in Hypercar with a three‑car attack built around the Ferrari 499P. Two full‑factory entries carry the no. 50 and 51 plates, with unchanged lineups, while a third 499P continues as a privateer effort under the AF Corse banner with Yifei Ye being the only confirmedn return for next year so far.
Toyota
Toyota Gazoo Racing continues with a pair of updated GR010 Hybrid Hypercars, maintaining its long‑standing presence at the sharp end of WEC. The team arrives with refreshed machinery and proven race‑winning experience, ensuring Toyota remains a constant threat in the title fight. The squad will return with the same line up as in 2025.
Cadillac
Cadillac returns with a two‑car Hypercar programme managed by Hertz Team Jota, reinforcing the American brand’s growing commitment to global endurance racing. Jota will start the 2026 season with an unchanged line up for the No.12 car and has confirmed that Jack Atiken will replace the retired Jenson Button on the No.38 car, joining Earl Bamber and Sebastian Boudrais in his rookie season.
Peugeot
Peugeot TotalEnergies fields two of the 9X8 Hypercar for another full‑season camapgin. While elements of the final driver line‑ups are still being adjusted with only Paul Di Resta and Loic Duval as confirmed drivers, Peugeot’s continued two‑car presence keeps the French marque firmly in the Hypercar fight.

Aston Martin
Aston Martin enters the Hypercar arena with a Valkyrie‑based programme run as a two‑car effort. The British brand’s move into the top class adds another iconic name to the front of the grid and complements its long GT heritage in endurance racing. The team will return with an unchanged line up.
BMW
BMW Team WRT runs two BMW Hypercars, benefitting from an updated package for 2026. They will also return with an unchanged line up.
Alpine
Alpine Endurance Team continues with a pair of Alpine Hypercars. The line ups as of now arent completed- Antonio Felix Da Costa joins the french team as replacement for Mick Schumacher on the No.35 car, while Frederic Makowiecki is the only confirmed driver on the No.36.
Genesis
Newcomer Genesis Magma Racing joins the series with two GMR‑001 Hypercars, immediately grabbing attention with high‑profile line‑ups. Drivers such as André Lotterer, Pipo Derani, Mathieu Jaminet and Daniel Juncadella headline the programme, making Genesis a debutant that cannot be overlooked.
LMGT3 class
Aston Martin
In LMGT3, Aston Martin is represented by Heart of Racing, which fields two Vantage LMGT3 entries. Heart of Racing has not confirmed all drivers yet, with Gray Newell and Ian James being the first two of the six driver line up.
BMW
BMW supports a two‑car LMGT3 presence through its customer squad Team WRT. Team WRT has announced the depature of Valentino Rossi, while Darren Leung, Sean Gelael, Dan Harper, Parker Thompson and Anthony McIntosh join Augusto Farfus as drivers.

Corvette
Corvette’s Z06 LMGT3.R appears under the TF Sport banner, including an entry run in collaboration with Racing Team Turkey. The partnership marks a significant step up for the Turkish squad into full‑season WEC competition while keeping Corvette firmly in the GT spotlight. Nicky Catsburg and Ben Keating, both 2023 LMGTE Champions with Corvette get joined by Johnny Edgar. Charlie Eastwood, Peter Dempsy and Salih Yoluc complied the second car line up.
Ferrari
Ferrari’s LMGT3 cars are run by Vista AF Corse with unchanged line ups heading into the 2026 endurance season.
Ford
Proton Competition continuing with two Mustang LMGT3 Evo entries. Ben Tucker and Gianmarco Leverato are the only confirmed drivers for the team so far.
Lexus
Lexus supports a two‑car LMGT3 effort through the Akkodis team. Esteban Masson, Pechito Lopez, Tom van Rompuy and Petru Umbrarescu are part of their team.
McLaren
McLaren’s presence is led by Garage 59 who took over from United Autosports, which runs a pair of McLaren GT3 entries. Their driver line ups consist of Thomas Flemming, Antares Au and Marvin Kirchhöfer in the No.10. Alexander West, Finn Gehrsitz and Benjamin Goethe will pilot the No.58
Mercedes‑AMG
Mercedes‑AMG machinery will be returning powered by Iron Lynx field. Iron Lyxn will return with Maxime Martin, Rui Andrade, Martin Barry, Johannes Zegler, Matteo Cressoni and Lin Hodenius as their driver line up.
Porsche
Porsche relies on Manthey‑run operations under different banners to field two 911 GT3 R LMGT3 cars. With Manthey’s extensive WEC and Le Mans experience, these entries are expected to be among the benchmarks of the LMGT3 category. Drivers for team will be 2025 DTM Champion Ayhanchan Güven James Cotthingham and Timur Boguslavskiy. The 2025 LMGT3 Champions Richard Lietz and Riccardo Pera will return, they will be joined by Yasser Shahin.
