CHRISTIAN HORNER OFFICIALLY LEAVES RED BULL

Christian Horner has been fired from Red Bull after being demoted from his role of team principal on July 9th, being replaced by Laurent Mekies.

Horner and Red Bull have now officially parted ways after a season struggling for the Austrian Team. The former Team Principal had been fired at the start of July but kept a role inside Red Bull which was part of his gardening phase.

Whether that move was to keep Max Verstappen, we can not know, but his father Jos put Horner under pressure for a long period of time, seeing the decrease in Red Bull’s performance since 2024.

Christian Horner was CEO of Red Bull in Formula 1, apart from being a team principal, which means he was executive director of Red Bull Racing, Red Bull Powertrains and Red Bull Technologies.

However, it was found today that Horner was fired from all of them through documents released by the Companies House, everything happened on the last couple days.

Stefan Salzer, who was director of Red Bull’s HR, replaces Horner as a CEO of the companies.

It is now official that both Horner and Red Bull have part their ways after eight drivers’ titles and six constructors’ championships.

It has been revealed that his payout fee will be of £80 million.
