MARC MARQUEZ TAKES VICTORY OF THE 1000TH RACE IN MOTOGP
The championship leader Marc Marquez has won for the ninth time this season in MotoGP, starting from P4, ahead of Fermin Aldeguer and Bezzecchi.
The pole sitter Marco Bezzecchi has had the ideal start keeping P1, ahead of a magic Bagnaia who took P2 from Alex Marquez right off the line. Marc Marquez also overtook his brother, who had to serve a long lap penalty later on.
Pedro Acosta immediately snatched P4, ahead of Fermin Aldeguer. Bastianini had a poor start and unfortunately fell behind the Gresini.
It did not take too much time for Marc Marquez to overtake his team mate, after a dive on the inside of turn 3 on lap 2, Marquez was already ahead of the Italian.
As the race gets into halfway distance, Marc Marquez starts to close up on Bezzecchi who had managed the leadership very well so far.
Current MotoGP champion Jorge Martin crashed in turn 7, the Spaniard seems to be ok even though his right leg got stuck on the bike.
On lap 18, Marc Marquez attacks Bezzecchi for the first time in turn 4, but the Italian resists and stays ahead after counter attacking in turn 6.
One lap later, Marc has got the position on the Aprilia and was leading the race into turn 1.
In the meantime, Bagnaia’s pace was slowing down rapidly. Pedro Acosta and Fermin Aldeguer got on the Italian’s tow and forced him into a mistake into turn 9.
Bagnaia left the track and lost two positions. He would then lose three further places due to struggling with bike.
On lap 20, Fermin overtook Acosta in turn 2a, and did not waste time, as he was right behind Bezzecchi four laps later.
The Young Spaniard approached Bezzecchi into turn 3 and managed to conclude the overtake with five laps to go.
Although he was lapping on the same pace as Marc Marquez, there was not enough time to catch the eight time world champion.
Marc Marquez wins again in MotoGP ahead of Aldeguer and Bezzecchi.

The riders will get back on track next weekend at the newest circuit in Hungary, the Balaton Park, which has created controversial opinions within the riders.
