DENNIS HAUGER STEPS UP TO INDYCAR AS ANDRETTI SEALS TECHNICAL PARTNERSHIP

Dennis Hauger has bee officially announced as the first ever Norwegian Indycar driver in the history of the series, and he will race with Dale Coyne.

Dennis comes from a dominant season in IndyNXT which saw him with a spare race, at the Milwaukee Mile, with six wins in total and 5 further podiums throughout the season.

His main rival, Caio Collet, is not rumoured to race in Indycar for next season at the moment.

Hauger won Indycar’s main feeder series with Andretti Global, but was not able to step up with the same team, after Marcus Ericsson renewed his contract with them. Therefore, Dennis will have to wait until 2027 for a top seat in Indycar.

As a result of that, Andretti has sealed a technical partnership with Dale Coyne Racing for the next season, and will loan Dennis to them for one year of racing.

Hauger will debut at St. Pete on March 1st for his first ever race in Indycar.
