Nico Müller leaves Andretti and is set to join Porsche

Nico Müller seems to be Antonio Felix da Costa’s replacement at Porsche for season 12.

The Swiss driver struggled on his first and only season with Andretti, being P13 on driver standings, and sometimes being used as wingman for Jake Dennis on the races.

In comparison, his teammate Jake Dennis was P7 last season, with 2 Podiums and 1 Pole Position.

The expectation of Muller is to improve his form as he joins the reigning teams champions, and with the season 10 champion Pascal Wehrlein as team-mate, they will defend the title fiercely.

Antônio Félix Da Costa Ready to join forces with TCS Jaguar Racing for Season 12

After 3 years, Antonio Felix da Costa leaves Porsche.

The reason for his departure is said to be internal friction with the team and former teammate Pascal Wehrlein. The Portuguese had 48 races with the Stuttgart Powerhouse with 5 wins, 11 podiums and 1 Teams World Championship Title, the first one for the German Team.

New chapter coming as he is ready to be in TCS Jaguar Racing next season, to drive alongside Mitch Evans as Nick Cassidy departed to join the brand new Citroen FE Team.

Maloney and Di Grassi Staying at Home

Lola Yamaha revealed on last Wednesday the contract extension of their driver duo: Zane Maloney and Lucas Di Grassi will remain with the team for the season 12 campaign.

With 1 Podium and 32 points for Di Grassi (Who scored all Lola’s Points), the Lola Yamaha Team was in last place at the standings and aims to recover some space on the grid next season.

For Zane Maloney, season 11 was to forget, lack of pace and consistency and firmly defeated by the teammate, the driver from Barbados now needs a big reset to make season 12 a lot better then the other one.

Citroen Arrives and Other Moves Happen

Citroen is joining Formula E on 2025/26 after Maserati is departing from the Series, and they made an interesting choice on their line up, signing Nick Cassidy and Jean-Eric Vergne, both drivers did not renewed their contracts with Jaguar and DS Penske respectively.

This impact on other seats at the grid, as Taylor Barnard takes Vergne’s seat at DS Penske after a stellar debut season with NEOM McLaren, and, as said earlier on the article, Antonio Felix Da Costa is very close to be Joining Mitch Evans at Jaguar.

Another team with a New Driver is Envision racing, that replaces Robin Frijns With Joel Eriksson.

Mahindra Racing keeps their line-up with season 7 champion Nyck De Vries and Edoardo Mortara as Nissan also keep their duo with reigning drivers Champion Oliver Rowland and Norman Nato.

Now you’re up to date with all the driver changes on the Formula E grid so far. Season 12 is approaching, and with it comes all the excitement that Formula E always provides.

In December, the São Paulo E-Prix opens the season at the Anhembi Sambodrome and we are already anxious for it.
