F1 ACADEMY IS BACK; EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW AHEAD SINGAPORE WEEKEND

The F1 Academy brings its exciting mix of young talent to the streets of Singapore. With the season now entering its decisive phase, the Marina Bay Street Circuit could well prove to be the turning point in the title fight.

At the top of the standings, Doriane Pin has shown why she entered 2025 as one of the favourites. Her speed and consistency have kept her firmly in the mix for the championship, but the walls of Marina Bay will test even the most composed drivers. Right behind her is Chloe Chambers. Chambers has already pulled off some of the standout overtakes of the season, and if she keeps cool, she could close the gap in Singapore.

Also in the hunt is Ella Lloyd. After clinching her maiden win earlier this season, Lloyd has become a genuine contender, proving she has both the pace and resilience to mix it with the frontrunners. Another name firmly in the chase is Maya Weug. Her switch of teams this year has unlocked a new level of performance, and podiums have come regularly as her confidence has grown. Both Lloyd and Weug know that a strong weekend in Singapore could transform them from outsiders into serious title threats.

The rest of the grid may not all be fighting for the crown, but they will play a crucial role in shaping how the battle unfolds. Tina Hausmann and Nina Gademan have proven they can spring surprises, while rookies like Alba Hurup Larsen and Joanne Ciconte continue to impress with flashes of pace and determination.

Singapore itself adds another layer of drama. As one of the toughest tracks in motorsport, with its relentless corners, unforgiving barriers, and sweltering night-time humidity, it leaves no margin for error. With two races on the schedule, there are plenty of opportunities for the standings to swing wildly, and fans can expect tension from lights out to the chequered flag.
