KEAN NAKAMURA-BERTA WINS 2025 ITALIAN FORMULA 4 TITLE

The Japanese Kean Nakamura-Berta has won the Italian Formula 4 title in race 2 after championship rival Gabriel Gomez did not start the race.

The Japanese driver needed only one point to win the championship in race 2, little did he know that his championship rival Gabriel Gomez had an engine issue and could not take part in the session.

Kean then only needed to finish the race to secure his F4 title on his second year in the series, and he did! By finishing P3 Nakamura-Berta can finally call himself an Italian F4 champion!

The PREMA driver has now got 322 points, winning 8 races, 15 podiums and 3 fastest laps, starting on pole 9 times.

Kean is set to move up to FREC with PREMA in 2026 according to our information, and will try to keep his momentum going. The Japanese has lost his Alpine Academy place at the end of last year and did the best come back he could possibly imagine!
