FRECA AND EUROPEAN FORMULA 4 GET TO MONZA FOR GRAND FINALE

This weekend’s, one of the main feeder series will get in action for the final time in 2025. FRECA and Euro4, both championships that are yet to have a champion, are present here in Monza for a final show.

The weekend in Monza has started with a 3-hour collective test in the evening, reduced by 1 hour due to the torrential rain that has hit the area.

We shall not see any more rain throughout the weekend on the temple of speed, besides a little spray on Sunday morning.

Euro4: What’s in hand

The European Formula 4 reached its third and final round of 2025 with six drivers in contention for the title, but mainly Kean Nakamura-Berta and Gabriel Gomez are leading the pack, as it was in the Italian Formula 4.

The Brazilian Gabriel Gomez dominated the first round at Le Castellet with two wins, two poles, and a second place finish in race 2. However, Kean Nakamura-Berta repeated the results almost exactly – only failing to get the second win – and overtook the Brazilian for the lead of the championship.

This leaves the little samurai Kean with 106 points, against the 96 from Gabriel Gomez, who will try to keep the championship alive like he did in Misano.

Alex Powell, Reno Francot, Sebastian Wheldon and Salim Hanna are the other drivers that are still in contention.

FRECA: An exciting fight for the title

Another magic FRECA season is coming to an end, with one of the most exciting fights for the championship of the last few years.

Freddie Slater and Matteo de Palo have been wheel-to-wheel for the lead of the championship all over the season, and they now find themselves 4 points apart, with the British driver leading the field.

Enzo Deligny is also in contention for the title, some more points behind. He finds himself with 233 points, 30 less than Slater, and Pedro Clerot counts 212 points to his name, out of contention just by a point sitting fourth. All of the four drivers have confirmed seats for the 2026 FIA Formula 3 season.

With 50 points yet to take, it is surely going to be a dramatic end to the FRECA season.
