UNSTOPPABLE FREDDIE SLATER DOMINATES FORMULA REGIONAL QUALIFICATION RACE

From the moment the lights went out, Freddie Slater seized control of the race starting from second. The Brit made a perfect get away and quickly pulled away from his pursuers, securing a dominant victory from start to finish. Thanks to this success, he will start from pole position tomorrow for the 15-lap main race on the stunning Macau circuit.

Théophile Nael started bad from pole position and fell down to P4, while Mari Boya immediately got up to third from sixth. Oscar Wurz retired early from the race.

Evan Giltaire tried everything to hold off Mari Boya and Théophile Nael for second, but the Frenchman eventually had to give in to the pace of the two drivers. Giltaire finished just off the podium, in P4, right behind the Spaniard and his French compatriot.

Unlike other series, the race was surprisingly clean: very few incidents and no neutralisations, a rarity on the Guia Circuit, where even the smallest mistake can be costly.

On the other hand, it was a difficult day for Matteo De Palo, lacking pace and forced to start outside the top 10 tomorrow, a major handicap on a track where overtaking is a real challenge.

With 15 laps on the program for the main race, the spectacle should be intense in the narrow streets of Macau. Will Slater be able to repeat his domination?
