BREAKING NEWS: LANDO NORRIS AND OSCAR PIASTRI DISQUALIFIED FROM THE LAS VEGAS GP

After finishing second and fourth respectively, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have been disqualified from the Las Vegas Grand Prix for a technical infringment.

Lando Norris was initially said to be disqualified due to not being within the minimum fuel limit at the end of the race, which is 1L. However, Norris slowed down and lost 15 minutes in the last 3 laps, and was able to avoid it.

Nevertheless, Jo Bauer and Nikolas Tombazis, both Head of Stewards of the FIA, have checked both cars inside the garage, as the rearmost skid was measured on both cars according to the team’s legality documents. The measured thickness was less than 9 mm on both cars, which is the minimum thickness required.

Norris stays at 390 points, against the 366 from both Piastri and Verstappen. Both Haas cars get inside the points. Antonelli gets into the podium after starting 17th.
