LAMBIASE TO STAY WITH MAX VERSTAPPEN IN RED BULL FOR 2026

As reported by Erik van Haren, Gianpiero Lambiase will maintain his role as Max Verstappen’s race engineer at Red Bull.

Despite recent approaches from Aston Martin and Williams with different offers on the table, nothing has been concluded.

Both teams have proposed the British engineer a factory-centered role as he is facing a complicated personal situation, due to the illness of his wife.

However, although conditions of the offers were compliant with Lambiase’s needs, the 45-year-old has decided to stay in Milton Keynes for the 2026 season.

Gianpiero has a contract valid until 2027 with Red Bull as both Verstappen’s race engineer and team’s head of racing.
