UAE4 – RACES 2 AND 3: COSTOYA TRIUMPHS IN THE CHAOS, BONDAREV STRIKES HARD IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP

The UAE4 morning delivered two very different races. Race 2 was action-packed and marked by a major incident, while Race 3 was calmer, with the main championship contenders keeping things under control.

Race 2: Costoya solid, Consani spectacular
At the start, Christian Costoya retained the lead, while Alp Aksoy saw his hopes disappear at the first corner, forced to retire. Very quickly, the race came alive with intense battles throughout the field, as every position was fiercely contested.

Starting only tenth on the grid, Andy Consani produced a remarkable comeback. With several overtakes, he put on a show and was already running in third place by mid-race, establishing himself as one of the standout drivers.

The race was then neutralised by a red flag following a spectacular crash involving Vaessen, who ended up upside down. At the restart, Andy Consani moved up to second place, confirming his outstanding performance of the day.

The final laps featured huge battles across the pack, but at the front, Costoya remained untouchable. He took victory at the end of an intense race, ahead of Andy Consani, who charged through the field from P10, and Iacopo Martinese, who completed the podium.

Race 3: Bondarev in control
Race 3 began at a completely different pace. At the first corner, Bondarev got the better of Kenzo Craigie to take the lead. Behind them, Andy Consani lost a position in the opening moments, in a race that was calmer than the previous one.

A few battles still animated the field, and gradually Consani managed to fight back, reclaiming third place to secure another valuable podium for the championship.

Out front, Bondarev took the win ahead of Kenzo Craigie in second, making an excellent move in the championship standings by scoring big points and confirming his status as one of the title favourites.
