NORRIS DOMINATES MIAMI SPRINT WITH A MCLAREN 1-2

After a long break in April, Formula 1 returned with an exciting Sprint race in Miami. The action on track was intense, with many battles and surprises, but one driver stood above everyone else: Lando Norris. He led the race from start to finish, helping McLaren secure a strong one-two result alongside his teammate Oscar Piastri.

At the start, Norris got away perfectly and kept his lead. Behind him, Kimi Antonelli had a poor launch again and immediately lost positions. Piastri took advantage and moved up, while Charles Leclerc also gained ground and joined the fight near the front. The opening laps were full of close racing, especially between Antonelli and Leclerc, who even made slight contact while battling for position.

Further back, there were also exciting fights. George Russell and Antonelli exchanged positions in a tense moment, while Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton had their own duel. Verstappen managed to pass Hamilton, although he had to give the place back once for going off track. He tried again soon after and completed the move correctly.

As the race continued, Norris stayed calm and in control, building a gap at the front. Piastri held second place, but Leclerc pushed hard behind him. The Ferrari driver showed good pace and got close, but he was unable to attempt a real overtake before the end of the race.

Norris crossed the finish line comfortably in first place, with Piastri completing the McLaren one-two just a few seconds behind. Leclerc finished third, giving Ferrari a positive result and encouraging signs for performance.

Mercedes had a more difficult race. Although Antonelli crossed the line in fourth, he received a five-second penalty for exceeding track limits, which dropped him behind Russell. Verstappen finished just behind them, while Hamilton lost pace late in the race and ended further back. Pierre Gasly and Isack Hadjar completed the points positions.

There was also early disappointment for Nico Hulkenberg, who could not even start the race due to a technical problem with his car. Overall, the Sprint race delivered strong action and showed that the competition at the front is still very close.
