HADJAR DISQUALIFIED FROM QUALIFYING AFTER TECHNICAL BREACH
Isack Hadjar has been disqualified from qualifying for the Miami Grand Prix after his car was found to be in violation of technical regulations. The issue was related to the floor of the car, where both the left-hand and right-hand floorboards were measured to be 2 millimeters outside the allowed limits.
This detail may seem small, but Formula 1 rules are extremely strict when it comes to car dimensions and design. Even a minor difference like this can lead to disqualification, as all teams must stay within precise measurements defined by the regulations.
Hadjar had originally secured ninth place in qualifying, which would have given him a solid starting position for the race. However, due to this infringement, his result has been cancelled, and he will not be allowed to keep that position.
As a result, he is expected to start from the pit lane or the back of the grid, depending on the final decision from the team.
