ZARCO REASSURES FANS AFTER CATALAN GP INCIDENT

Johann Zarco has given fans his first update after his incident at the Catalan Grand Prix, explaining that his injuries are painful but not as serious as they could have been.

The French rider said he is wearing a neck brace, although he admitted it is bothering him more than anything else at the moment. The main concern appears to be his knee, where he said the ligaments were damaged.

Zarco also confirmed that his femur is not broken, which is positive news after the crash. However, he does have a small fracture in his fibula, on the outside of his left ankle.

Despite the injuries, Zarco wanted to calm his supporters and let them know that he will continue to share updates as he recovers.

“I just wanted to reassure you,” Zarco said, making it clear that the situation is under control even though he will need time to heal.
