KYLE BUSCH DIES AGED 41 AFTER SUDDEN ILLNESS

Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch has died at the age of 41 after being hospitalized with a severe illness. His passing was announced in a joint statement from the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and NASCAR.

Busch had been set to miss the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte after his family said he was receiving treatment in hospital. The news then became even more tragic when NASCAR confirmed his death later that week.

The Busch family later shared that medical evaluation showed severe pneumonia had progressed into sepsis, leading to rapid and overwhelming complications.

Busch leaves behind one of the greatest records in NASCAR history. He won the Cup Series championship in 2015 and 2019, claimed 63 Cup Series wins and collected 234 victories across NASCAR’s three national series.

Known as “Rowdy,” Busch was one of the most intense, talented and successful drivers of his generation. He was loved by many, debated by many, and respected across the sport for his speed, passion and winning mentality.

NASCAR has lost one of its biggest names far too soon. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, team, fans and the entire racing community.

May Kyle Busch rest in peace.
