ALEX MÁRQUEZ OUT OF CZECH GP TO FOCUS ON RECOVERY
Alex Márquez will not take part in the remainder of the MotoGP Czech Grand Prix in Brno after deciding to step away from the event due to ongoing physical pain following his heavy crash in Barcelona.
The Spanish rider has been dealing with discomfort since the incident and, after further assessment, both the rider and his team agreed that continuing the weekend would not be the best option. The decision was made to avoid risking further injury and to allow Márquez to fully focus on his recovery process.
Despite attempting to participate in the Czech weekend, the pain became too limiting, especially under the demanding conditions of a full Grand Prix race weekend.
As a result, Márquez has withdrawn from the rest of the Brno event, ending his participation early and ruling him out of both the Sprint and the main race. The priority now is recovery and rehabilitation ahead of the upcoming rounds of the championship calendar.
