ALEX PALOU TAKES MAGIC POLE AT MILWAUKEE

Alex Palou has taken yet another pole position in this phenomenal 2025 Indycar season for the Spaniard, this time around at Milwaukee.

It is the sixth pole position for the Spaniard who took his fourth Indycar title two weeks ago at the Portland GP.

It is the second pole position for Palou in an oval track this season, the first being at Iowa Speedway, in race 2, where he won starting from that position. Weekend that also marked the first win for Pato O’Ward this season.

A magic David Malukas closes the first row. The American-Lithuanian is rumoured to be replacing Will Power at Penske next season, seen the excellent performance from David lately.

Pato O’Ward qualified third alongside last year’s winner of the Milwaukee Mile Scott Mclaughling. The rest of the Penskes qualified just behind, with Power in P6 and Newgarden in P8.

The riders that struggled in the qualifying sessions were both Felix Rosenqvist and Colton Herta. Both drivers have spun out and will start from the back of the grid in tomorrow’s race.
