MARC MARQUEZ DOMINATES SPRINT RACE IN HUNGARY

Marc Marquez has won once again in MotoGP, this time around, the first ever race at the brand-new Balaton Park in Hungary.

The championship leader started the sprint race from pole, and a good launch off the line gave him no threats going into turn 1.

Enea Bastianini and Fabio Quartararo had a magnificent start out of P4 and P6 respectively, but unfortunately the French missed the braking point in turn 1 and crashed into the KTM.

Bastianini would then get involved in a crash with Zarco and retire from the race. All the drivers are ok. Brad Binder also retired in the pits due to technical issues.

Coming off from lap 1, Marquez led from di Giannantonio, Morbidelli and Luca Marini. Marco Bezzecchi had a good start off P2, but got caught in the kerfuffle of turn 1, and dropped down to P7.

Opposite situation for his team mate, who recovered some positions up until P9, as well as Alex Marquez.

However, Pedro Acosta was fighting for the P9 with the current world champion, but the shark ended up crashing in turn 9.
