FORMULA 3 ARRIVES TO ITALY FOR THE GRAND FINALE

The FIA Formula 3 championship has arrived to Monza for the 10th and final round of the season, weekend that will define the future for some of the drivers.

This is the first time ever a Formula 3 title is clinched before the final round, and it was done in style by Rafael Camara. The Brazilian has dominated the initial part of the championship, and although he was threatened by his main rivals on the second half, Tsolov and Tramnitz, and later on Mari Boya, the consistency of the Ferrari Junior paid off to win the championship at Budapest.

This will be the final race of the Brazilian in a Formula 3 car before moving up to Formula 2 next season. It is said Camara will be racing in Formula 2 even this season, possibly in the last two races in both Qatar and Abu Dhabi with his team Trident. In the next season, he is set to move up with Invicta, following the path of Gabriel Bortoleto and Leonardo Fornaroli.

Camara, who has already broken the pole position records (4), is on the verge of breaking the most wins in Formula 3 record, as he only needs one win in Monza to get to 5.

The constructors’ championship is still going at full steam though, with Trident and Campos being 19 points apart coming into the last round.

Monza will be the place where Fefo Barrichello will be making his Formula 3 debut, signing with AIX for both the 2025 finale and the 2026 season. He will be replacing James Hedley in Van Amersfoort Racing, as the British will fulfill the seat left by Santiago Ramos.

As it was last season, the qualifying will see the division of two groups of drivers taking part in a 10-minute session each. The driver who sets the fastest time combined with the whole grid and is first in their group, will take pole.
