ALEXANDER ALBON GIVEN GRID PENALTY FOR THE SPRINT RACE IN MIAMI

Alexander Albon will start the Miami Sprint Race from P19 instead of P14 after the stewards deleted his fastest lap in SQ1.

The decision came after it was determined that Albon exceeded track limits during his flying lap in that session. Because of this, his fastest lap time was considered invalid and removed from the results.

As a consequence, his original qualifying position was revised, dropping him five places on the Sprint grid. The penalty reshapes his starting position for the Sprint Race.

These drivers moved up one position for the Sprint Race starting order: Carlos Sainz, Arvid Lindblad, Liam Lawson, Esteban Ocon, and Sergio Pérez all gained one place on the grid
