FERRARI PLANS AUSTRIA RESPONSE WITH NEW UPGRADES

After a difficult weekend in Austria, Ferrari is already focusing on improvements for the next round at the British Grand Prix. Reports from AutoRacer suggest that the team is preparing a new package of upgrades aimed at improving overall performance and closing the gap to its main rivals.

The planned updates are expected to include an evolution of Ferrari’s rotating rear wing concept, designed to improve aerodynamic efficiency across different speed ranges. Alongside this, the team is also working on a low-drag diffuser upgrade, which should help reduce air resistance and improve straight-line speed at fast circuits like Silverstone.

There is also the possibility of a revised exhaust system being introduced. This kind of change can help improve airflow management at the rear of the car, which can have a direct impact on both stability and aerodynamic balance, especially in high-speed corners.

The focus on these upgrades reflects Ferrari’s reaction to a disappointing result in Austria, where performance gaps were more visible in key areas such as race pace and efficiency. Rather than dwelling on the setback, the team has quickly shifted attention to development and upcoming opportunities.

The British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit is expected to be an important test of whether these updates can bring Ferrari closer to the front of the grid in the ongoing battle within Formula 1.
