YAMAHA CONFIRMS NEW RIDER LINE-UP FOR 2027 AND 2028

Yamaha Factory Racing has officially confirmed a big change to its future plans in the MotoGP. The team announces that Jorge Martín and Ai Ogura will join its factory line-up for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.

Jorge Martín is one of the strongest riders in MotoGP in recent years. Yamaha signs him as an important part of its plan to become competitive again and fight for wins in the future once again.

Ai Ogura also joins the project. The Japanese rider who has shown strong progress in the lower categories before reaching MotoGP level is now snatching wins in the top class with Trackhouse. Yamaha brings him in as part of a long-term plan to build a balanced team with both experience and developing talent.

With these signings, Yamaha is showing that it wants to become more competitive again and return to fighting at the front.
