DANI HOLGADO HAS BEEN PROMOTED TO MOTOGP
Dani Holgado is stepping up to the premier class of motorcycle racing for the 2027 season. After finishing as runner-up in Moto2 last year, he now moves to MotoGP.
Holgado will race with Gresini Racing, a team known for developing young riders and giving them a chance to compete at the highest level. This move marks an important step in his career, as MotoGP is the top category in motorcycle racing.
His promotion comes after a strong season in Moto2, where he showed consistency, speed, and the ability to fight at the front of the field. Finishing as runner-up in such a competitive class helped confirm that he is ready for the next step.
Moving to MotoGP means Holgado will now race against the best riders in the world on the most powerful bikes in the sport. The jump from Moto2 to MotoGP is one of the biggest challenges in motorcycle racing, both physically and technically, because the bikes are faster, heavier, and more demanding.
