ENZO DELIGNY STAYS WITH VAN AMERSFOORT RACING FOR THE 2027 F3 SEASON
Enzo Deligny will remain with Van Amersfoort Racing for the 2027 FIA Formula 3 season, continuing with the Dutch team for a second year in the championship. The French-Chinese driver joined VAR for his F3 debut in 2026 and will now benefit from another season of experience with the same team.
Deligny made an immediate impact on his F3 debut in Melbourne. Starting his first Sprint Race weekend in the category, he finished second behind his VAR teammate Bruno Del Pino, giving the team a 1-2 result. He also finished sixth in the Feature Race to leave Australia with a strong points haul.
The 2026 season saw Deligny finish 16th in the Drivers’ Championship with 40 points. Alongside his Melbourne podium, he recorded two more top-five finishes and seven top-10 results during his rookie campaign. He also set the fastest lap at Monza.
Deligny’s move to Formula 3 came after several seasons in junior single-seaters. He started racing cars in 2023 in Spanish Formula 4, where he finished fourth overall and won the Rookie title. He then moved to Formula Regional in 2024 before having a stronger 2025 season, finishing third in the European championship.
In 2025, Deligny also competed in the Formula Regional Middle East Championship. Across his Formula Regional campaigns, he recorded five wins and 12 podiums, while he finished third at the Macau Formula Regional World Cup. These results helped him secure his move to FIA Formula 3 with Van Amersfoort Racing.
Deligny will now enter the 2027 season with a full year of F3 experience behind him. He is also set to take part in the official FIA Formula 3 post-season testing before preparing for the new campaign with VAR.
The 2027 FIA Formula 3 season will feature 10 rounds across four continents. The championship will visit new venues including Jeddah, Montreal and Istanbul, with Montreal marking the category’s first visit to North America. The season will begin in Bahrain in March and finish at Istanbul Park in October.
