ALEX MARQUEZ WINS AGAIN THE MOTOGP RACE AT JEREZ

Alex Marquez won the MotoGP race at Jerez in dominant style, taking his first win of the season for Ducati, while his brother Marc Marquez crashed out early.

Alex made a strong start, quickly moving up from fifth to third. He passed Marco Bezzecchi at the end of the first lap and then overtook Marc for the lead soon after. Just a few corners later, Marc crashed and was out of the race.

From that point, Alex controlled the race with no real challenge. Bezzecchi stayed close at first but could not keep up and finished almost two seconds behind in second place.

Fabio Di Giannantonio took third after passing Jorge Martin early in the race. Martin finished fourth and was never able to fight back for a podium position.

Ai Ogura and Raul Fernandez had a close battle, with Ogura finishing fifth ahead of his teammate. Johann Zarco started strong but dropped back later in the race.

Enea Bastianini was the top KTM rider in eighth, while Pedro Acosta struggled after damaging his bike and finished tenth.

Further back, Fabio Quartararo scored points again for Yamaha, finishing 14th after defending his position in the final laps.

Marc Marquez, Francesco Bagnaia, and Lorenzo Savadori were among the riders who did not finish the race.

With this result, Marco Bezzecchi keeps the championship lead, while Ducati riders now face a bigger gap in the standings after a difficult weekend.
