FORMULA 2 SET FOR AN EXCITING WEEKEND AT SILVERSTONE

Formula 2 heads to Silverstone this weekend for Round 7 of the 2026 season, with the championship reaching its halfway point and the fight for the title becoming increasingly intense.

Nikola Tsolov arrives with momentum after his victory in Austria, a result that brought him back into the championship battle and confirmed his excellent recent form. The Bulgarian is now firmly established as one of the main contenders for the title.

Championship leader Gabriele Minì continues to impress with his consistency and holds only a small advantage at the top of the standings. Rafael Câmara also remains close behind after a strong first half of the season, while Alex Dunne is still very much in contention despite not yet winning a race in 2026.

Dunne will be hoping Silverstone can change that. The Irish driver has enjoyed success at the British circuit in the past and already stood on the Formula 2 podium there last season. With Rodin Motorsport competing at their home event, both driver and team will be aiming for a strong weekend.

Sebastián Montoya also has good memories of Silverstone after finishing on the podium in last year’s Sprint Race, while Oliver Goethe arrives full of confidence after securing the first Formula 2 podium of his career in Austria.

Silverstone remains one of the fastest and most demanding circuits on the calendar. Its famous high-speed corners reward confidence and precision, while tyre management could become crucial with warm temperatures expected throughout the weekend.
