NEWEY CONFIRMS BIG UPGRADES INCOMING FOR ASTON MARTIN IN HUNGARY

Aston Martin is preparing a major upgrade package for the Hungarian Grand Prix as it continues its development push in the Formula 1.

Technical work led by Adrian Newey has confirmed that the team will introduce significant changes aimed at improving overall performance, especially in aerodynamic efficiency and weight reduction. The car will keep the same basic chassis and gearbox design, but both areas have been made lighter, which required the front chassis to go through additional testing and re-approval processes.

The front suspension layout remains unchanged, showing that the team is focusing development efforts elsewhere rather than redesigning the full mechanical platform. The rear suspension, however, has received smaller updates designed to improve balance and performance across different corner types.

One of the most visible changes is a new front nose design. Alongside this, Aston Martin has introduced wider aerodynamic revisions across the car, aimed at improving airflow and increasing overall efficiency. These updates are part of a broader effort to bring the car closer to the minimum weight limit, which is a key performance target in modern Formula 1.

The overall goal of the package is to improve competitiveness at circuits like Hungaroring, where high-downforce performance and cornering efficiency are critical.
