REAR WING PROBLEM HITS VERSTAPPEN AGAIN CAUSING PREMATURE END TO THE RACE

Max Verstappen suffered another frustrating race after a rear wing problem forced him into a retirement and ended his hopes of fighting for a podium at the British GP. The Red Bull driver revealed that an issue with the rear wing system caused him to lose control of the car, sending him into the gravel and ruining his race.

According to Verstappen, the problem was related to the rear wing not closing properly, losing rear grip at the entry of the corner. However, the Dutchman explained that the cause of the failure was different compared to the similar issue he experienced at the Austrian Grand Prix qualifying.

The latest problem adds to Red Bull’s recent concerns regarding reliability and performance, the team has faced more difficulties in recent months, including technical issues and internal changes that have affected its stability.

For Verstappen, the situation is particularly frustrating because he has continued to extract maximum performance from the car despite Red Bull’s struggles. The Dutch driver claimed it was unacceptable for the same thing to happen twice in two weekends in a row.
